Harka Bahadur Deuba and son Thakkar Bahadur Deuba released on bail

The District Administration Office, Kailali has released Harka Bahadur Deuba and his son Thakkar Bahadur Deuba of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 5 on bail. Both of them were arrested for assaulting a senior journalist of Dinesh Khabar for publishing an article about Thakkar Bahadur Deuba.

Deputy Subba Durgadatta Pant of the District Administration Office, Kailali informed that the investigation lasted for 5 days. Although,  Harka Bahadur Deuba was bailed out on the second day due to health problems.  

According to SP Anupam Shamsher Jawara,  District Police Office, Kailali, Thakkar Bahadur Deuba was released on bail after paying Rs 5,000 each for himself and his father. Deuba had taken a grant from the ministry for a fishery without constructing a pond. A case was registered against them for working against public interest.
