A person from Baitadi dies after reaching India to collect pension

Baitadi: A citizen of Baitadi who reached India on Wednesday to collect his pension has died. The deceased has been identified as Dhan Singh Rawal, aged 83, of Dasharathchanda Municipality-8, Tripura.

Baitadi Deputy Superintendent of Police Narayan Prasad Adhikari said that Rawal died Enroute to receive treatment while waiting in line at a bank in Jhulaghat, India. According to Rawal himself, he had been suffering from asthma and respiratory problems for a long time. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) said that the swab would not be collected as the family refused to test Rawal's corona. The body of the deceased has been handed over to the family. The deceased Rawal had retired from the Indian Army.
