Is Satish Karna seeking dual compensation?

Chief of Nepal Electricity Authority Far-West, Attariya Mr. Satish Karna met with a car accident in December while returning from his hometown Biratnagar.

He was using his office vehicle when it collided with a private vehicle in Sindhuli. However, it is publicly known that the usage of Government vehicle for private affairs is strictly prohibited.

Karna has allegedly submitted a request for a sanction of Rs 2 lakhs 32 thousand from his office for the repair of the car. He claims to have been using the car for public work when the accident took place.

Sources also claim that he has already taken compensation for the damages from the owner of the private vehicle
