Young entrepreneurs convene ‘Inter Chapter Retreat’ in Dhangadhi to explore investment and tourism opportunities
Dhangadhi: The ‘Inter Chapter Retreat’ program, bringing together young entrepreneurs, was successfully held in Dhangadhi, Kailali, with participation from over 100 officials and members of various chapters of the Nepali Youth Entrepreneur Forum Kailali.
The event was organized to identify the economic potential of the Far West, create an investment-friendly environment, and encourage young entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities, said the forum’s president, Achyut Dahal.
Former president Engineer Roshan Bhatta presented a working paper on the region’s investment potential, while Padam Bikram Singh, President of NATA Sudurpaschim, highlighted opportunities in the tourism sector. The presentations provided detailed insights for young entrepreneurs interested in investing in the Far West.
During the program, chaired by Dahal, Gopal Hamal shared his perspectives on business opportunities, personal experiences, and the role of local authorities in attracting investment. Representatives from various chapters also contributed their views, a session welcomed by the forum’s first vice-president, Ayush Hamal. Participants from chapters in Surkhet, Pokhara, Rupandehi, Kanchanpur, and Nepalgunj attended the retreat.
The program incorporated cultural elements to showcase local heritage. Performances included Bhuwa, Sakhiya, and Latthi dances, along with opportunities for participants to sample dishes from the Chaudhary (Tharu) community and other local cuisine of the Far West.
