Dhangadhi: The High Court, Dipayal, has issued a directive ordering the Attariya Chamber of Commerce and Industry to operate in accordance with its statute.

The court issued a mandate to the District Administration Office, Kailali, instructing that the Chamber of Commerce must comply with its governing rules and regulations.

The controversy arose after 11 members of the association resigned on Mangsir 5, following allegations of irregularities in ticket sales during the provincial festival. Subsequently, on Poush 28, the association nominated six new members to fill the vacant positions. However, the High Court annulled this decision, ruling that the nominations were made in violation of the organization's statute.

Issuing a separate directive to the association, the court has also ordered that the vacant posts of members and office bearers be filled strictly in accordance with the statute of the organization.
