Young man rescued after falling into mahakali river in Darchula
Darchula: A 31-year-old man, Yamraj Lakandi, who fell into the Mahakali River at Ringantal, Mahakali Municipality-4, Darchula, was successfully rescued by the police on Sunday.
Yamraj, originally from Surma Rural Municipality-9, Saingau in Bajhang, had been living in a rented room in Mahakali Municipality-4, Khanlaga, Darchula, where he worked as a laborer. Following the incident, a team of 22 officers led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dahal was deployed for the rescue. Yamraj was injured and has been transported to District Hospital Darchula for treatment, as confirmed by the District Police Office Darchula.
