Nine gamblers arrested in Kailali In a crackdown on illegal gambling

nine individuals, including 54-year-old Jagat Saud, were arrested in Kailali on Friday.

The arrests took place at the residence of Dhan Bahadur Tharu in Janki Rural Municipality-2, Badaria, where police found the group gambling. Authorities seized 21,750 in cash and three Gaddi Tas from the scene.

This follows a similar operation on Thursday, where nine more gamblers, including 25-year-old Arjun Dangi, were apprehended at his house in Lamkichuha Municipality-2, Motipur.

The police, deployed from the area police office in Tikapur, continue to intensify efforts against illegal gambling activities in the region.
