Fatal Lightning Strike Claims Life of Shalim Chaudhary in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Tragedy struck once again in Kailali as another life was lost due to a lightning strike.

Shalim Chaudhary, a 27-year-old resident of Ward No. 18, 'F' Village in Dhangadhi Sub-Municipality, succumbed to injuries sustained from a lightning strike while working in the fields. Chaudhary, who was struck by lightning, passed away while receiving treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital.

In addition to the fatality, two other individuals were injured in separate incidents. Rita Katharia, 29 years old, and Susma Dagaura, 23 years old, both from Janki Rural Municipality-4, Belpur, sustained injuries from lightning strikes.

Earlier today, another tragic incident occurred when Jairam Dagaura from Joshipur Rural Municipality lost his life due to similar circumstances. The incidents highlight the dangers posed by lightning strikes during the monsoon season, prompting local authorities to issue warnings and safety advisories to residents.
