Budget for various airports in the province under limelight

In the budget of the provincial government, a plan has been made to build an airport in two remote districts, namely Gokuleshwor, Dharchula and Kamal Bazar, Achham. A budget has also been passed for the upgradation of Dhangadhi airport. However, Kanchanpur residents who have been involved in the phase-wise movement for the operation of  Majhgaon  airport has not been included in the budget. The operations at Sanphebagar airport, Achham and Kolti airport, Bajura is ongoing. Whereas, the work at Patan airport, Baitadi and Dipayal airport, Doti, are still pending even after many years since the project began.
