Suspicion Arises in Youth's Death Case in Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur: The circumstances surrounding the death of a young man in Kanchanpur have taken on a mysterious turn.
The body of 35-year-old Chandra Bahadur Bista, a resident of Bhimdatta Municipality-4, was discovered in a canal. Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dangi disclosed that Bista's body was recovered from the main canal of Mahakali Irrigation, located in Bhimdatta Municipality-4, on Tuesday morning. Bista had left home around noon on Sunday and had since become uncontactable. Concerned about his absence, his family lodged a complaint with the police, prompting an investigation.
Authorities revealed that Bista's body was found inside a sack within the main canal of Mahakali Irrigation on Tuesday. According to the victim's family, Chandra had returned from India just a week ago, having traveled home for a relative's wedding. Prior to his return, he had been employed in Malaysia. It was noted that the deceased's wife, who serves in the Nepal Army's peacekeeping force, is stationed in Sudan.
The case has sparked suspicion, with investigations underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Bista's untimely demise.
