Father and Son Arrested for Murder in Bajhang

Bajhang: Authorities have apprehended an individual on suspicion of murder in Bajhang.

The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Jai Bahadur Hamal from Kimtoli, Subeda, Jayaprithbi Municipality-7, was arrested by police from District Police Office Bajhang on Monday morning. The arrest follows allegations of Hamal's involvement in the murder of 40-year-old Ramprashad Joshi.

Reportedly, Joshi succumbed to injuries sustained during an altercation with Hamal while both were intoxicated. Acting on the received information, law enforcement officers intervened and detained Hamal for questioning. Additionally, Hamal's son has also been taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities are diligently conducting further inquiries into the incident.
