Four Youths Arrested in Kailali for Drug Possession

Dhangadhi: Four youths have been apprehended from various locations in Kailali on the same day.

Twenty-year-old Raghab Chaudhary, a resident of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-6 Matyari, was detained by the police on Thursday afternoon. He was found in possession of 150 milligrams of drugs (brown heroin). The police team from Ward Police Office Dhangadhi made the arrest.

Similarly, Dan Bahadur Rana, 26 years old and residing in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan municipality-11, was arrested on Thursday evening. He was caught with 410 milligrams of brown heroin on the Syaule inner road section of Godavari Municipality-8. The arrest was made by a police team deployed from the temporary police post Sripur, Kailali.

In another incident, Sagar Chaudhary, 20 years old, and Rajkumar Chaudhary, 32 years old, both residents of Tikapur-9, were apprehended on Thursday evening. They were found in possession of 1 gram and 590 milligrams of brown heroin, respectively, from a road section near Tikapur Municipality-1 Jamrapari Tikapur Multipurpose Campus. The arrests were made by a joint police team deployed from Sudurpaschim Province Police Office Dhangadhi and Elaka Police Office Tikapur. Further investigation is underway regarding the four arrested individuals.
