Journalist Puskar Bhatt Arrested by Kanchanpur Police, Under Custody for Alleged Electronic Transactions Case

Dhangadhi: Puskar Bhatt, a journalist hailing from Kanchanpur, has been detained by local authorities. The arrest took place at Gadda Chowki in Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No. 10, as confirmed by Kanchanpur police.

Reportedly, Bhatt was apprehended on Saturday under suspicion of involvement in electronic transactions deemed unlawful. Although the identity of the complainant remains undisclosed by the Kanchanpur police, they have asserted that the arrest was made with the authorization of the District Court Kanchanpur.

Aged 42 and residing in Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No. 4, Bhatt was previously engaged in market management at Gayatri Tours and Travels. His arrest follows his public statements, both through news platforms and social media, levying accusations against Police Inspector Binukumari Shahi, stationed at the District Police Office in Kanchanpur.
