Blaze Engulfs Bajura Shop, Incurs Property Losses Valued at Approximately 6 Lakhs
Bajura: A devastating fire erupted in a shop located in Bajura, causing significant property damage estimated at around 6 lakhs.
The Khadra shop, owned by Bhim Bahadur Rawat in Lamgaon, Khaptad Chededah Rural Municipality-7, fell victim to the flames on Saturday morning, triggered by a short circuit in the electric wiring. Preliminary assessments indicate that property worth approximately 600,000 rupees was lost in the fire.
The conflagration ravaged the shop's contents, including rice, clothing, alcoholic beverages, retail merchandise, electronic items, utensils, recharge cards, cash, and other commodities, resulting in a total property loss of around five lakhs and 91 thousand rupees. Swift action by the police and local residents helped bring the fire under control.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident to ascertain the precise details of the damage caused by the fire.
