Belauri Farmers Receive Official Recognition with the Issuance of Identity Cards
Kanchanpur: In a significant milestone for the farming community of Belauri, the municipality has taken a proactive step by distributing official identity cards to local farmers. The distribution ceremony took place on Wednesday, where identity cards were handed out to 75 commercial vegetable farmers across three wards.
Belauri Nagar Mayor, Potilal Chaudhary, expressed the municipality's commitment to supporting local agriculture. The identity cards were specifically provided to vegetable producers in wards 3, 5, and 9. Mayor Chaudhary highlighted the importance of these cards in streamlining the sale of locally grown vegetables in markets such as Dhangadhi, Attaria, and Mahendranagar.
The primary objectives of this initiative, as stated by Mayor Chaudhary, include the identification and encouragement of farmers, ultimately aiming to facilitate the efficient sale and distribution of their produce. The issuance of identity cards is anticipated to play a pivotal role in boosting the agricultural sector and fostering a sense of pride and recognition among Belauri's farming community.
