Traffic Mishap in Darchula as Two Passenger Buses Collide

Darchula: A collision between two passenger buses occurred in Darchula, with the incident unfolding at Thaptoli in Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8 along the Mahakali highway.

The collision involved Sudurpaschim Province bus No. 02001 B 1147, en route from Darchula headquarters to Mahendranagar, and Sudurpaschim Province bus No. 01001 B 2393, departing from Malikarjun to Darchula headquarters.

The city bus, carrying security personnel assigned for the Malikarjun Jatra, was heading towards the headquarters when the collision transpired. Although both buses sustained damage, Darchula District Police Office reported no human casualties in the aftermath of the incident.
