Jeep Accident in Mohanyal, Kailali Leaves Four Injured

Dhangadhi: A recent jeep accident in Kailali has resulted in injuries to four individuals, including passengers and the driver. The incident took place on a Friday evening in Bajadi of Mohanyal rural municipality-4, involving a jeep with registration number BHE 1 J 6163, en route from Dokebazar to Khimdi.

The Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Police Office in Attaria reported that the injured victims have been identified as 50-year-old Sarita Budha from Badikedar Rural Municipality-3, 33-year-old Manis Rokka from Badikedar Rural Municipality-3, 33-year-old Dhansara Maske from Mohanyal Rural Municipality-4, and 39-year-old Kamala Punmagar. The driver, 25-year-old Ram Bahadur Bik, has been taken into custody by the police. Authorities attribute the cause of the accident to brake failure in the jeep.

Law enforcement officials are actively investigating the incident to ascertain the precise circumstances leading to the brake failure. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to provide necessary medical assistance to the injured parties. This unfortunate incident underscores the importance of adhering to road safety measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
