Two Arrested in Darchula with 1.5 Kilograms of Hashish

Darchula: Two individuals hailing from Bajhang have been apprehended in Darchula with a significant quantity of hashish, totaling one and a half kilograms.

The suspects, identified as 36-year-old Ujjal Bohara from Bungal Municipality-7 of Bajhang and 28-year-old Ram Bahadur Bohra from the same locality, were taken into custody with a substantial amount of hashish, weighing precisely 1.6 kilograms. This operation was conducted under the capable supervision of Gyanendra Bahadur Singh, who serves as the Information Officer and Police Inspector at the District Police Office in Darchula.

According to Singh, the arrest took place in Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8 in Darchula on a Wednesday morning. A dedicated police team, dispatched from the District Police Office in Darchula and Shankarpur Pasti Chowki, effectively apprehended both individuals along with the illegal substance, which has the potential for significant harm to society.
