Nepal Navy Association Conducts Cybercrime Awareness Training
Dhangadhi: The Nepal Vidyarthi Sangh Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan committee has taken a proactive stance in equipping students with essential knowledge to combat cybercrime. On Tuesday, the Navy Sangh organized a comprehensive training session on cybercrime prevention for the students of Phulbari Secondary School in Dhangadhi-19.
Dipesh Bohara, President of the Navy Association Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan, emphasized that the training was initiated in response to the escalating involvement of school-age teenagers in cyber scams and cybercriminal activities. He highlighted the growing incidents of fraud, hacking, and mobile phone-based blackmailing in various regions, including Dhangadhi. Consequently, the training aimed to empower the younger generation with the awareness and skills needed to navigate the digital landscape responsibly.
Approximately 150 students from classes 11 and 12 enthusiastically participated in the training session, which was held at Phoolbari Secondary School. The training, organized by Navy Sangh Dhangadhi, was made possible through the dedicated efforts of IT Engineer Roshan Shrestha, who invested personal resources to facilitate this invaluable educational initiative.
