Dadeldhura: In commemoration of Constitution Day, a total of seven inmates have been granted their liberty from the confines of Dadeldhura Jail.

According to the statements provided by District Jail Dadeldhura's Jailer, Mr. Jitendra Ojha, these individuals have been released due to their good conduct during their incarceration and having completed 40 to 50 percent of their respective sentences. The specific convictions that led to their imprisonment encompassed offenses such as polygamy, abortion, duty-related killings, arms embezzlement, and industrial manslaughter.

The breakdown of the released prisoners includes two individuals convicted of duty-related killings, two for polygamy, and one each for abortion, arms embezzlement, and industrial manslaughter. This decision to release them aligns with the principle of rehabilitation within the criminal justice system and seeks to provide these individuals with an opportunity to reintegrate into society while maintaining the necessary focus on public safety and adherence to the law.
