Dhangadhi: In a commendable display of local initiative and wildlife preservation, a juvenile python was successfully rescued from the Lalpur region of Godavari Nagarpali-6 in Kailali district. The responsible individual behind this rescue is Sitaram Awasthi, a resident of the area.
The recently rescued baby python, measuring an impressive 3 meters in length and weighing approximately 5 kilograms, was safely extricated from a potentially hazardous situation. Prompt action from Awasthi not only averted potential harm to the reptile but also highlighted the importance of community involvement in protecting local fauna.
Following the successful rescue mission, the custody of the baby python has been transferred to the competent authorities at the Sub Division Forest Office, Attariya. This decision ensures that the reptile's well-being and conservation are placed in expert hands.
