Bardagoria College got affiliation from the Tribhuwan University
Dhangadhi: Another educational institution in Kailali has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining affiliation from Tribhuvan University.
The necessary preparations for commencing campus operations have been successfully completed following the affiliation of Bardagoria School in Bardgoria Rural Municipality within the district. The formal awarding of the Bardgoria College certificate by Tribhuvan University has paved the way for the campus to begin its operations. Campus Head, Chanda Kharel, received the certificate from the Tribhuvan University Executive Council, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and the Planning Director. Principal of Bardagoria College was also present on this occasion. With this affiliation, the college, previously under private sector management, will now be governed by the Bardagoria village government.
The realization of establishing a campus in Bardgoria is the result of relentless efforts by Bardagoria Rural Municipality, education enthusiasts, and social workers. Prior to this development, students in the locality had to travel to campuses in Lamki, Ghodaghodi, and Joshipur Rural Municipality for higher education due to the absence of a local campus. Recognizing this predicament, the endeavor to establish a campus in their own municipality has been fruitful, as asserted by Karna Bahadur Kuwar, President of the municipality.
President Kuwar also expressed his commitment to ensuring the smooth commencement of academic activities in the upcoming session. The local residents are overjoyed with the prospect of pursuing higher education within their own village, marking a new chapter in their educational journey.
