Fugitive Accused of Polygamy Case Apprehended in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Law enforcement authorities have successfully arrested a fugitive individual in connection with a polygamy case in Kanchanpur.

Krishna Rana, a resident of Belauri Municipality-8 within the district, was apprehended on Wednesday. The Kanchanpur District Court had previously sentenced Mr. Rana to 10 months of imprisonment and a fine of 10,000 on 4th Poush, 2078.

Following his arrest, Rana has been taken into custody and will now serve his prescribed sentence in prison.
