4 people were arrested for beating the public representative of Mohanyal in Kailali

Kailali: Four individuals have been apprehended in connection with the assault on a public representative from Mohanyal in Kailali. The incident unfolded during a heated dispute at the 12th village assembly regarding the relocation of the village council office, resulting in physical harm inflicted upon the people's representative.

Chairman Devi Dutt Upadhyay sustained injuries to his hand during the altercation, while Vice Chairman Kamal Saud and Ward No. 7 Chairman Navraj Kathayat also suffered injuries. The Area Police Office in Sukhad confirmed the arrest of the four assailants involved in the assault. Authorities have stated that an ongoing investigation is being conducted into the matter.
