Driver injured in jeep accident in Baitadi

Baitadi: A jeep has met with an accident in Baitadi. At 8:30 am on Thursday morning, the jeep numbered S.P.Pr.04-001 J 0013 which was coming from Bartoli to Tripura met with an accident.

In the accident, 34-year-old Prithvi Bhatta of Surnaya Rural Municipality 3, the driver of the jeep, was injured, said Police Inspector Lokraj Joshi of District Police Office Baitadi. He was injured in the head and after being treated at the district hospital, he was sent to Dadeldhura hospital for further treatment, according to the District Police Office Baitadi. Bhatta was the only person in the jeep. The jeep fell about 30 meters from the road.
