9th National Games: Far West selection from Friday

Baitadi: Under the 9th national sports competition, the Far West provincial level qualifying competition will be held from Friday. Selection will be conducted September 23rd (Asoj 7th).

According to Sudurpaschim Province Sports Council, the selection competition includes football, cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton, table tennis, karate, weightlifting, boxing, wushu, taekwondo, kho kho, intelligence, wrestling and other sports. The selection competition will be conducted in Kailali and Kanchanpur.

The process of reaching Kailali and Kanchanpur continues from district to district to participate in the state-level selection competition. According to the head of Baitadi District Sports Committee Tarkaraj Joshi, the players who perform best in the selection competition will participate in the 9th National Games.

The 9th National Sports Tournament organized by the National Sports Council will be held in Pokhara, Gandaki Province from October 14th (Ashoj 28) to October 20th (Kartik 3).
