Citizens in Kailali did not get the full amount of government allowance

Dhangadhi: In Bhajani municipality of Kailali, it has been found that after the amount of social security allowance was reduced, the beneficiaries did not get the full amount they were supposed to get. In the last quarter of the financial year 2078/079 BS, it has been found that the amount to be received by the beneficiaries has been reduced due to the decrease in the amount coming from the government for the citizens receiving social security allowance.

According to the municipality, even though the amount was received as per the demand till the third quarter of the financial year, the amount was less in the last quarter. Rs 5 crore 67 lakh should have come for the beneficiaries who will get the allowance. However, about 52 lakh 43 thousand eight hundred and 77 rupees is insufficient, that is, only 50 million 14 lakh rupees have come to the municipality, said Khemraj Binadi, head of social security and registration branch.

Mayor Kewal Choudhary said that now the people's representatives and employees have accused him of stealing social security allowance money and that the accusation is baseless.
