Municipality to provide allowance to childless couples and single men in Darchula

Dhangadhi: Byas Rural Municipality of Darchula is going to provide monthly social security allowance to childless couples and single men. The executive meeting of Byas rural municipality has passed the local social security allowance procedure 2079 and decided to give this allowance.

Mangalsih Dhami, chairman of the rural municipality, said that until the federal government's allowance is implemented, the rural municipality has arranged to provide social security allowance to both single men who have not been married or who have not married after the death of their wives and childless couples who have completed 45 years. Currently, 500 rupees will be distributed monthly. It is said that the Byas rural municipality will continuously give allowance to single men and childless couples by increasing it every year.
