A youth group locked a office in Baitadi

Dhangadhi: A group of youth has locked the office of a rural municipality in Baitadi. The group locked the office of Surnaya Rural Municipality. A group of 4-5 local youths said that they locked up on Friday because they were not informed about the process of purchasing sanitary pads.

They said that the executive and accountant's rooms were locked. They said that they had filed a petition demanding information about the pad procurement process on August 8 (Shrawan 24), but the information was not provided until now, so it was locked.

Their stance is that the lockdown will not be lifted until the information is available. However, Prakash Saud, information officer of the municipality, has said that he will provide the information on Sunday. He stated that he was unwell and was out of the municipality and said that he would provide information on Sunday.
