2-year-old girl was found dead in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A two-year-old girl from Kanchanpur was found dead in a canal. Police said that the body of Muskan, daughter of Khemraj Bhatt of Baduwal intersection in Bhimdatta Municipality-17, was found on Friday morning.

The girl had been missing from home since 6 pm on Thursday. Suspecting that she had drowned in the canal, the parents informed the armed police for a search. A team under the command of Armed Police Deputy Inspector Jagat Singh Thapa found the body in the south canal about 700 meters from the house on Friday. The police said that the girl may have drowned in the canal and died.
