695 candidates of Bajura have not showed the election expenses yet

Bajura: 695 of the candidates for the local elections in Bajura have not submitted their election expenses yet. According to the District Election Office Bajura, 695 out of 914 candidates have yet to submit their election expenses.

According to section 64(4) of the Local Elections Act 2074, details of election expenses must be submitted by parties, candidates or their representatives to the office designated by the Commission within 30 days of the election result announcement date.

If the candidates do not submit the statement of election expenses within the specified time. There is a penalty for the violation mentioned in sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Local Elections Act 2074 .
