Kathmandu: The citizenship certificate of Niraj Pandey of Kanchanpur was lost. However, instead of reporting it to the police, the person who found it was found to be doing illegal work by opening a fake company in his name.

On the basis of the same citizenship, Pandey was made the owner of Everest Link International Education Pvt Ltd on 14th December (Mangshir 28th) last year. He said the company was registered in the office of the Registrar of Companies, Tripureshwar, Kathmandu under number 279596/078/079.

What is more surprising is that Pandey did not know this. Then, based on the same citizenship, an account was opened in Century and Kumari Bank. After all these works, it has been revealed through the police investigation that a fraudulent business of sending people abroad is being run in the name of the same company.

A 28-year-old employee named Suresh from Bhaktapur, Madhyapurthimi who became the CEO of the company, 24-year-old Vishal Karki and 21-year-old Ramakrishna Rawat of Mugu's Khatyad Rural Municipality, who opened a bank account in Pandey's name, committed fraud in the name of sending people to Russia.

Pandey lodged a complaint with the police after he came to know about the fraud in his name. After that, the three who opened an office in Dnyaneshwar were arrested by the team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Meen Bhavan.
