Police searching for missing teenage girls in Mahakali river

Dhangadhi: The search is on for two teenage girls who went missing while bathing in the Mahakali river on Friday. 15-year-old Kavita Tamta and 14-year-old Sangeeta Tamta of Dasharathchand Municipality-8 of Baitadi went missing after they went to the river to bathe.

Lokraj Joshi, Information Officer of District Police Office, Baitadi informed that the search for both the girls is ongoing. Joshi said that Nepal Police and Armed Police teams are conducting regular searches.

It is said that the border police posts between Nepal and India have also been informed about this. However, they have not been found yet.
