Mohanyal official of Kailali who transferred bribe to bank account

Dhangadhi: The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has filed a corruption case against Dipendra Budhakshetri, the 6th level official of Mohanyal Rural Municipality of Kailali, on the charge of taking bribes from a service recipient. A case was filed against Chhetri with a fine of 44,000 rupees. The commission took control on July 17, 2022 when the bribe had already been taken from the customer.

According to the commission, Budhakshetri demanded bribes from the customer to pay the bill of the goods and asked them to transfer Rs. 14,000 to the bank account. In addition, the Commission recovered Rs. 30,000 from the accused.

The commission has filed a charge sheet with the demand for fine and imprisonment, maintaining the bank transfer and the recovered amount as bad. If found guilty by the court, the accused will not get pension benefits from the state.
