Preparations to send election materials to the villages in Darchula

Darchula: Preparations are underway to send election materials to the villages in Darchula for the local level election. As the necessary materials for the election have arrived in the district, the same is being checked and packing is being done.

District Election Officer Pradip Singh Dhami said that the required materials could be delivered to all the local level polling stations by May 10. Necessary election materials including ballot boxes have been brought to Khalanga.

Packing work is underway to send it to the village after verification. This time 100 new ballot boxes have been brought for the district. Earlier, more than 500 ballot boxes were safe in the district, he said.

According to the District Election Office, 58 types of election materials including ballot boxes have been brought to the district. Chief of the office Jay Prasad Dhami said that all the materials except ballot papers and voter identity cards have already arrived. There are ballot boxes, checkpoints, swastikas, masidani, voter list lists and other materials.

After verification, all the villages are sent. There are 110 polling stations and 139 polling booths in nine local levels of the district. The number of voters is 88 thousand 285.
