One injured in tractor-motorcycle collision in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A man has been injured when a tractor and a motorcycle collided in Kanchanpur. A tractor (Supra 01002 Ta 4341) heading from Belauri to Belduri and a motorcycle (Ba 13 Pa 3938) coming from the opposite direction collided head-on at Belauri Municipality-8 in the district, police said.

Motorcyclist Ashok Joshi, 35, of Belauri-8 was injured in the accident. He was rushed to Ishan Memorial Hospital in Belauri after the accident and was referred to Kohalpur for further treatment, according to the State Traffic Police Office, Attaria.

It is learned that Ratiram Chaudhary, a 39-year-old tractor driver of the same place is absconding. The tractor and motorcycle are under the control of the Area Police Office, Belauri.
