Center dispute of Baitadi Dilashani resolved, agitation postponed

Dhangadhi: The center dispute of Dilasheni village municipality of Baitadi has come to an end. The dispute came to an end after the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration sent a letter of decision to the village municipality to keep the Dhamigaun center.

At present, the office of the municipality is located in Ward No. 3, Pangsera. The executive had sent a letter to the government on December 7 to change the center and keep it in Pangsera.

The ministry has asked to conduct the work from Dhamigaun mentioned in the gazette as no decision has been taken regarding the manipulation even though the file was presented in the cabinet meeting. There was a long-running dispute over the center in Dilashani.

The youths were also protesting saying that the leaders had shifted the center to a suitable place. However, the youths have stated that the agitation has been postponed saying that the center dispute has been resolved.
