Road, electricity and telephone services blocked in Achham

Dhangadhi: Road, electricity and telephone services have been disrupted in Achham. A team of Nepal Army and Nepal Police is working to reopen the Mid-Hill Highway, which was blocked due to continuous rains.

According to the District Administration Office, Achham, the blocked road at Chaukhutte has been brought into operation for the time being. Chief District Officer Rudra Bahadur Malla said that the power supply has been disrupted for four days after poles collapsed in some places of Achham, Doti and Dadeldhura due to rains.

Similarly, 11 FM radios and newspapers in the district have also been shut down.
