Cases of human rights violations on rise in Far-West
Dhangadhi: The cases of human rights violations have increased in Far-West. Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) Far-West has stated that the number of human rights violation cases have increased in the state.
In the last six months, 262 cases of human rights violation have been registered in INSEC. INSEC Province Chief Coordinator for Far-West, Khadak Raj Joshi said that most of the cases registered are of violence against women.
"There have been cases of childrens' rights, killing and mutilation of the injured. The number of cases may increase, " added Joshi. "Public awareness should be spread in the society to reduce killing and violence. Legal action should be taken against such incidents."
