Landslide displaces 7 families in Pancheshwor, Baitadi

Baitadi: Seven families have been displaced in a landslide in Gairatol of Pancheshwor Gaonpalik-2 of Baitadi due to continuous rains.

Ward Chairman Dasharath Mongola said that the house of local Krishna Ram Auji was completely damaged in the landslide on Saturday morning.

He said that six other families at risk were also displaced after the landslide fell from the settlement. The displaced families are now housed in the building of Devathala Mavic, said ward chairperson Mongola.
