An 11-year-old girl raped by a 53-year-old man in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A man has been arrested for raping a girl in Kanchanpur. The arrested is Dhan Bahadur Gurung, 53, of Krishnapur Municipality-4.

He is accused of raping an 11-year-old girl. According to Amar Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Gurung was arrested on Sunday night after receiving information that the girl had been raped.

He said that the girl's health has been tested. Police said that further investigation is underway on Gurung.
