Demonstration held in Dhangadhi demanding justice for Bhagarathi

Dhangadhi: Demonstrations have taken place in Dhangadhi demanding justice for Bhagarathi Bhatt who was found dead in Baitadi.

On Friday, youths of Dhangadhi affiliated to the Nepal Students Union, a sister organization of the Nepali Congress, staged the protest. They carried placards including "Investigate the facts, Justice for Bhagarathi, take action against the culprits". Demonstrations were staged from Parkmod to the Chief Minister's Office.

The body of Bhatta, 17, of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-7 was found at the local Luv Lake Community Forest on Thursday evening. It is suspected that she may have been killed after being raped.
