Six Arrested in Bajhang

Bajhang: Six people have been arrested for allegedly covering up a rape incident in a village.

Police have arrested a 13-year-old girl for allegedly covering up the incident in Masta Municipality of Bajhang on July 10. Among the arrested are Jhalak Damai, Lal Bahadur Bohara, Dhanchadhi Bohara, Thamkala Damai, Piru Damai and Gulfe Bohara. Rajendra Bohara was arrested for raping and killing 12-year-old Samjhana Kami.

According to the police, the six arrested persons had secretly arranged the incident in the village, further investigation is currently underway on the incident.
