Action taken against traders without license
Dhangadi : According to the Office of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection, action has been taken against Dinesh Fresh House, run by Gopal Chaudhary in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 7, for selling boiler meat at a higher price than the prescribed rate.
Acting Chief of the Commerce Supply Office, Kamal Pun, informed that Chaudhary was fined Rs 20,000 after he was found selling chicken without registering the shop.
A grocery store in Dhangadhi has also been fined for selling and distributing gas without a license. A fine of Rs 20,000 has been imposed on Suraj Narayan General Store in Ward No. 7 of the sub-metropolitan.
The Office of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection has stated that it has been fined after it was found that the license for sale of gas was not obtained during the market monitoring and expired food items were sold.
