Eight injured in jeep accident in Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: Eight people have been injured in a jeep accident in Dadeldhura. The incident took place at around 1 am on Sunday. The accident took place at Amarghadi Municpality-7, when a jeep (Sha.pa.pra. 01001 ja 11155) was heading to Bajang from Dhangadi.

Dadeldhura Deputy Superintendent of Police Dadhiram Neupane informed that eight people were injured when the jeep fell about 200 meters below the road.

The injured have been identified as Bibhu Prakash Bhatt age 32, Man Bahadur Malla age 45, Rabindra Malla age 35, Sampada Malla age 12, and Vivek Malla age 12 of Kadarsew Municipality-4.

Similarly, 42-year-old Yashoda Malla, 50-year-old Saraswati Malla and 32-year-old Ammar Vik, a jeep driver of Bajhang's Bangal Municipality-4 were also injured in the incident, said DSP Neupane.

Four of the injured are in critical condition. They have been referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment. The other injured are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital. Seventeen people were injured in a high-speed accident that took place in Dadeldhura on Saturday morning too.
