Two bus drivers arrested for misusing vehicle pass in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Two drivers has been taken under control in Kailali along with vehicles.  A joint team deployed from the State Traffic Police Office of Attaria and Area Police Office of Malakheti have arrested two drivers with their buses in Godawari Municipality Ward No. 4.

Gokul Khadka, a driver of Chaurpati Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 of Achham district driving a bus (Na 4 Kha 9972) heading towards Achham from Dhangadhi has been taken under control by the police.

According to Pratik Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office of Kailali, 13 passengers were allowed to take the bus and 22 passengers were found in the bus.
Similarly, in Kanchanpur, Punarwas Municipality Ward no.10, Police have also arrested Bharat Singh Dhanadi. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bista said that he was arrested with the bus (Na 7 Kha 2723) heading towards Baitadi from Mahendranagar.

According to the police, 18 passengers were allowed to take the vehicle but 32 passengers were found. Therefore, both the driver and the bus were taken under control.
The drivers have been sent to the District Administration Office of Kailali for necessary action to be taken to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
