A cop and a chairman of community forest charged with soliciting and accepting bribe

A charge sheet was submitted in the special court against Dil Bahadur Mahara, Deputy Inspector of Area Police Office, Kailali, and Birkha Bahadur Dhami, Chairman of Laxmi Community Forest, Musuria for accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000 to settle a rape case in Kailali.

A 16-year-old from Gauriganga Municipality was allegedly raped by her 17-year old husband and her brother-in-law on the third week of April. Today, a charge sheet was filed against Chairman Dhami for soliciting bribe for Deputy Inspector Mahara.
