Police officer dies after meeting with an accident

An Assistant Constable of the Armed Police Force lost his life after an ambulance of Omsai Hospital collided with his motorcycle on the East-West Highway of Gauriganga Municipality pWard No. 9.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Gorakh Ayer of Ghodaghodi Municipality Ward No. 10 Pahalmanpur, informed DSP Daksha Kumar Basnet.

According to him, the ambulance of Omsai Hospital was heading from west to east while the motorcycle was heading from east to west when they collided with each other.

The ambulance driver Asharam Chaudari of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 10 has been arrested by the Area Police Office, Sukhad.
