CPN-Maoist Kailali-5 candidate Babarjung Singh releases election commitment letter
Dhangadhi: CPN-Maoist candidate for Kailali-5, Babarjung Bahadur Singh, has made his election commitment letter public ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives elections. Singh has highlighted corruption-free governance, social justice, and people-oriented development as the core priorities of his campaign.
In his publicly released commitment letter, Singh criticized the state for prioritizing the interests of a limited group and emphasized the need for policy reforms that address the real needs of the people. He pledged to make state institutions responsive through good governance, transparency, and accountability.
The manifesto outlines a focus on education, health, agriculture, employment, and infrastructure development. Singh has proposed programs to improve public education, ensure access to health services for all citizens, provide subsidies and market support to farmers, and create employment opportunities for youth.
Special initiatives are also planned to protect the rights of women, Dalits, indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized communities. The commitment letter emphasizes maintaining transparency in development projects by eliminating corruption, brokerage, and commission systems.
Singh further stated that local resources will be maximally utilized, and development in roads, drinking water, irrigation, and energy sectors will be accelerated. His main campaign slogan is "Commitment to development and service along with voting."
