‘Balmiki Plus Two Rising Star Premier League’ cricket tournament kicks off in Dhangadhi

Kailali: The ‘Balmiki Plus Two Rising Star Premier League’ (CPL) cricket tournament has officially commenced in Dhangadhi, Kailali. The event is being organized by Rising Star Boarding School at the playground of Shree Krishna Community Forest in Dhangadhi-Matyari.

Sudurpaschim Province Social Development Minister Meghraj Khadka inaugurated the tournament during a special ceremony. Kalendra Shahi, Managing Director of Rising Star Boarding School, stated that a total of 24 teams are participating in the tournament for under-8 classes.

The winning team will receive Rs 50,000 in cash, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs 25,000 along with a trophy and medal. Additionally, the best player will be awarded Rs 5,000, and the best batter, bowler, and emerging player will each receive Rs 2,000.
